Sunchoke

Sunchoke (or Jerusalem artichoke) is the root of a special sunflower that, when cooked, tastes like a mix of artichoke and potato. Typically used in cooking.

Sunchoke is associated with potential antifungistatic, anticarcinogenic and antioxidant components. It has also been associated with potentially lowering high cholesterol, facilitating weight loss, detoxing, help with acne, and help with cardiovascular disease and immune system disorders.
