Muscadine Grape

Muscadine grapes have tough sour skins, sweet or sour insides depending on variety, and crunchy bitter seeds. All parts of the fruit are edible, however some discard the skin or seeds if too unpalatable. Typically used fresh, processed into jam or fermented into wine.

Muscadine grapes are associated with potentially helping obesity, diabetes, cancer, gut health, and heart health.
