Kohlrabi

Kohlrabi is the bulbous alien-like veggie that used to be an old american favorite. The leaves taste similar to broccoli and cabbage, and the bulbs are crisp like an apple but taste a lot like bok choy. Typically used fresh or cooked.

Kohlrabi is associated with a potentially decreased risk of developing cardiovascular diseases and different types of cancer, particularly in the digestive tract, liver, lung, and breast.
