Katuk

Katuk leaves have a somewhat sweet flavor to them, very akin to peas. The flowers and fruits are also edible and go great in salad! Typically used fresh or lightly cooked.


Katuk is associated with potential antioxidant, anticancerous, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, anti-inflamatory, antiobesity, antifungal, and lactation inducing activities, among many others.
