Cabbage

Cabbage is the large unopened flower bud of the cabbage plant and tastes similar to brussel sprouts, though a bit more mild. Surprisingly, if you cut the cabbage off the plant, it will usually regrow a bunch of tiny little cabbages somewhat similar to brussel sprouts as well. Typically used fresh, cooked or fermented.


Cabbage is associated with being a potential antioxidant and gastric aid, as well as having potential antiobesity, hypolipidemic and hypoglycemic effect.
