Broccoli

Broccoli has a deeper flavor of green, similar to spinach. It is the conglomeration of thousands of tiny unopened flower buds of the brocolli plant. If left to grow on the plant, each small bud would actually open into a tiny beautiful yellow flower! Typically used fresh or cooked.


Broccoli is associated with potential anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, and antibacterial effects.
